I’m confused; I thought runes indicated someone speaking Norse in front of people who didn’t understand, but I’d think Brian and Niam would be speaking Irish.
*That* was the reaction I was expecting. In his mind she died years ago, a little girl who he mourned. This adult who wears (something approximating) his dead wife’s face? Gotta be supernatural, and NOPE is the only acceptable reaction to that, from his POV.
I think the “you” who should get away is Coal. He´s visible Norse, i.e. a Viking, i.e. one of the people who killed Brian´s wife and kidnapped his daughter.
And he may even be recognizing Coal – or at least thinking he does. I think we are going to find out that Coal´s father was one of the Vikings on the raid that stole Hedda.
I get the feeling that she’s not going to get to go home,I had the feeling but it’s still going to be a goodbye to a home here. The last one was bittersweet, this one will be more bitter than sweet.
I really do feel for Hedda and her dad both. This is obviously bringing back some pretty horrific memories for Brian, and that’s definitely hurting Hedda right now.

Anyways:
Niam: Hurt ere iou
Brian: No. I am fine
I think that’s actually Coal asking Hedda if she’s okay, hence the runes. Notice there’s no tails on the speech bubbles.
Even though it’s over the Irish couple, I think that’s Coal and Hedda speaking to one another.
Ah, that makes sense. In that case, those lines are Coal and Hedda, respectively.
Others have mentioned it by now but, yeah, that’s Coal asking Hedda if she’s hurt.
Audience is booing. I emerge from between the people, cup my hands around my mouth and yell “I REALLY LOVE COAL’S LITTLE >:O FACE IN PANEL 3!!”
He’s mad!! Don’t push his friend!

I´m reading this situation differently.

You may be right. *chinhands*
Extra bad day for Brian.
BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
…somebody had to say it
Yeah! Good job.

A good possibility.

Everything sucks!!
Is there a chance that Brian had been a warrior when whole? That last sentence is a bit sus.
There’s always a chance!
