Something went down, if the bloody hatchet (going for another stroke?) is to be believed. I admit I’m having a hard time telling what exactly is going on here, both mother and father refer to each other in the past tense. And the bottom left and center are most puzzling of all.
(Waves to Wavewright) I have a theory, but it is pretty dark,. The blood ax is coming at Coal, but who is wielding it?
*waves back* Is the axe coming for Coal? Why say ‘close your eyes’ then? The juxtaposition of the violence and the protectiveness is doing my head in. I’d venture the axe is cutting off the head of the unhappy person in the cart, but that is juxtaposed with the sole touch of blue (waves?). I suppose these puzzles will be answered sooner or later.
That’s fine if you can’t tell, it’s just a bunch of visions from Coal’s life. Not all the dialogue is his parents, either. :3
The bottom 3 things havne’t been shown yet…. But I feel very sad for Collier. A bit of a shit life, with some good bits, but both parents dying and whatever those three things are point to ‘reasons’ as to why our Bezerker is broken.
Coal seems to be healing from his life in his death. Just want to give the kid a hug and cake.
He could definitely use a big ol’ hug.
