Struggling to remember who among the spectators at large has seen this side of Coal. What are they thinking as this transpires? Is this violence a banishable offence?
For that matter, what does Arne’s neckpiece have to do with this?
Firstly this is a very alarming page and I enjoy how this development is so unnerving because of the contrast with the Coal we were appreciating in the recent chapters. Secondly the lighting in the first two pages else changing from soft and fuzzy too strong and sharp in the third panel is just gorgeous.
About the only thing that shield did, was wtop the poor sod from poping on the first kick
It helped for a second!
Well shoot, Coal, he’s *never* gonna answer your question now.
He’s fine with that.
I think that is the darkest, scariest page you’ve ever done, Sarah.
Awesome!!!
Haha, thanks! Definitely want to get across that This Is Bad.
I guess making of Coal for fighting for a woman wasn’t a good idea i guess.
Or bothering him at all.
Calling it, this is going to result in Agnar making Coal a job offer.
Especially since Agnar is going to be all out of employees in another thirty seconds or so.
That would be an interesting development.
I love the little flinch by Loki in the second panel, and the movement of the hair, like it’s being sucked into the wind of Coal’s passage.
Coal go fast.

Actually I don’t think anyone has except for Loki. Ibrahim only saw the tail-end of something.

Ooh, neat that someone noticed the lighting (or commented on it). The soft lighting left when the spear was thrown, and the fight began.
first time I’ve checked in since the hiatus, this rules
Thanks! I’m glad you checked back!
