You could use Norse curse words to make it more thematic.

Both good ideas. Probably tense coworker relations, though.
Now Coal’s eyes are brown?
Still gray! Shadows don’t affect them, but the color of a lightsource can, so they are tinged a bit from the firelight. His eyes are only ever gray or green (or…red).

Bloodshot eyes helmet man does not appear to have a nose. This is disturbing.
He doesn’t have a nose? Then how does he smell?

Weirdly, giving him a nose looked stranger to me, so instead he remains an amorphous monster.
I’mma go get some popcorn… and maybe an umbrella for the blood splatter.
